Sharon- I think it is about the proportion of the flat dark in comparison to the other colors. There isn't enough of it to stand up to that crazy yellow and bossy pink. I hope you keep posting these. It's a fun experiment.
That is a good point, but shouldn't being overwhelmed by the other high-lighters make it go to the back? I think it is partly a mind game.
